Overview
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains when and how refunds are available for NaughtyBot subscriptions and token purchases.
Written in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and applies to all users worldwide.
Subscriptions
24-hour cooling-off window
All new subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 24 hours of the original purchase, no questions asked.
Cancellation after 24 hours
If you cancel after 24 hours, you are entitled to a pro-rata refund for any unused days remaining in the current billing period.
Example: subscribe 1 March for 30 days. Cancel 11 March. Used 10 days, eligible for a refund of 20/30 of the subscription price.
How to request a subscription refund
Email support@naughtybot.me with:
- Your registered email address
- The date of your purchase
- Your reason for cancellation (optional but appreciated)
We process within 3 business days.
Token top-ups (one-time purchases)
Unspent tokens
Token packs that have not yet been spent are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
Spent tokens
Tokens already consumed are non-refundable — the service has been delivered.
Partial refunds
Partially-spent packs are eligible for a pro-rata refund for the unspent portion, within 14 days of purchase.
How refunds are processed
NaughtyBot accepts payments in cryptocurrency (BTC and Lightning) via our self-hosted BTCPay Server. All pricing is in USD; refunds are issued at the USD-equivalent of your original purchase, paid in BTC or Lightning at the conversion rate at refund time.
- Processing time: 3–5 business days after approval
- Currency: refunded in BTC or Lightning, sent to a wallet address you provide
- Refund amount: the USD price of your original purchase, converted to BTC at the time of refund — the BTC amount you receive may differ from what you originally paid because of price movement
Important: blockchain transactions are irreversible. We send a new transaction from our BTCPay wallet to yours — we do not "reverse" the original.
Australian Consumer Law
Under the ACL, you have consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the ACL. If a service is faulty, not as described, or fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of the timeframes above. Contact support@naughtybot.me.
